Approved, enforced, and still not for sale

The invitation was recorded, but no email went out

We are not sending mail yet — the sending domain, the provider and the From address are still being decided, and sending from a domain that is not set up properly is how a young business ends up in spam folders permanently. Tell them yourself for now: they sign in at this address with newperson@example.com and the invitation is waiting.

An invitation matches on the ADDRESS, not on a secret in a link — so it cannot be forwarded to somebody else, and no token of yours ends up in a server log or a browser history.

Three answers, not two

When this page asks what plan you are on, it can get three answers, and it shows all three differently:

unreadable We could not check.Not free, and not shown as free. The page says it could not check, keeps your last known caps out of the sentence entirely, and nothing about your account is changed by our inability to read it. This is the same distinction as “not measured” on a scan.

Signing in

There is no password on this account. Every sign-in is a one-time link to your address, so there is nothing of yours for us to leak and nothing for you to reuse somewhere worse.

Signing out ends the session at the provider, not just in this browser — a logout that only clears our copy leaves a working credential wherever else it was copied.
